New Student Checklist

Key Changes:
- Removed numbers as not every student is able to complete these steps in order
- Imply an order without making it a requirement
- Removed the accordions which makes it easier to quickly determine which item you need to do without having to click (clicking is more of a commitment than scrolling)

Funding & Aid

Key Changes:
- Reorganized the content with slight format changes but the content is generally the same
- Removed the contact information for each funding sources on this page
- Provides a general overview of all funding options that students can choose from and then click through to find out more detailed information
- Provides a single point of contact at this point to help solve option confusion

Financial Aid

Key Changes:
- Task-based - focused on getting students to quickly scan the various options before moving forward
- Reduced the importance of Recommended File Completion Dates per Chris Melton and Margie Pederson but still have them available within FAFSA application instructions

Registration

Key Changes:
- Removed seasons - combined registration pages into one page called 'How to Register'
- Removed the Important Dates PDF (not accessible - please see our Important Dates article for more information)
- Online Tuition Waiver information consolidated into one page called 'Tuition Waivers' with all of the various tuition waiver options
- Transcript Requests (information and links combined into one page and will be accessible through the main navigation and the Enrollment Services landing page)
- Transfer Credits (information moved to a new section with is accessible through the New Student Checklist and the Enrollment Services landing page)
